Healing In The Communion (The Bread)

I think most of us understand the cup of wine that is drank in the communion. It represents the blood that Jesus shed for us for the forgiveness of sins. But the bread is another story. I want you to understand its significance. Jesus said to take and eat of my body that was broken for you and as oft as you drink the cup and eat my body do in rememberance of me. He sais this at the last supper with his disciples.

The bread is his body that took stripes on it for the healing of your body. When the children of Israel were to leave the land of Goshen they celebrated the passover the night before. They killed the lamb and put the blood over the doorpost so the death angel would pass over them. They prepared and ate the lamb they killed. That lamb represented the body of Jesus. When they ate it, it went into their stomache and was digested and then the nutrients went out into their blood stream and healed their body. So when they came out of Egypt the next day, the Bible says there was not one feeble person among them! There were three million people there and not one feeble, let alone sick. They understood their covenant with God and kept the passover.

Today when we take communion we are doing just what they did. But most people don't understand the bread we eat. It is representative of Jesus body that we are eating. When we eat that bread it is taken by faith and we believe it to digest in our stomaches and the nutrients to go into our blood stream and heal us. Jesus took stripes for our healing at calvary and we are healed.

The Bible also says there are many weak and sickly among you because they do not discern the Lord's body. This is true because many do not understand what Jesus did for us at calvary except that he shed his blood so we could be forgiven of our sins. That is true alright, but he got healing for our bodies also at the same time. This is not taught in the church like it should be and therefore we have a bunch of sick Christians among us. It further goes on to say that many sleep (die) because they don't discern the Lord's body. They just don't understand what it means to eat the bread and what it's suppose to do for them. We need to understand there is healing in the communion table for ever child of God. But they don't know this and can't believe for it. I want this to enlighten you today about the communion so the next time you partake of it that you will understand what you are doing and take it by faith believeing for your healing. It's there folks, so do it in remembrance of what Jesus did for you at calvary. He provided for everything you will ever need in life and healing for every sickness and disease that will ever come upon human beings. The bread is for the healing of your body. This is what it represents. This is just one more way you can obtain your healing if you understand it and do it by faith.

No Word No Healing

There is no healing outside of the Word of God that will last. There are some that get healed by someone else's faith, but it don't last. For you to get healed and stayed healed, you have to develope your own faith in God's Word and be ready to say "NO" when symptoms come back on you. They will you know. Most people that get healed by someone praying for them lose it very quickly because they have no faith to keep it and the devil will put it back on you.

At this point they get mad at God or the person that prayed for them and don't understand why it didn't last. When the symptoms come back they will say that they thought they got healed but reckon they didn't. That is when they lose it. If they had faith in God's word and know what it says about healing they would raise up and tell those lying symptoms to get out of their body and never to return again, and they would leave. But when you don't know this or anything about how to keep your healing, then you don't know what to do but to accept them back and be defeated. This is why people need to hear the word about healing taught before they are prayed for. It's harmful to a person to pray for them before they understand these things.

Please remember that you cannot be healed outside of knowing the word of God on the subject of healing and how to keep it. This is why we see people healed in a crusade where a lot of faith is around and then they go home and lose it. The preacher is called a fraud and is said to be doing some kind of magic on the people. But it is simply because the person didn't know how to keep their healing. The preacher might not know about this either. So they both could be in the dark why they lose their healing.

I just wanted to share this with everyone that has been healed and then lost it, and for you that are thinking about being prayed for to be healed. Be sure you know the Word about healing so you won't be disappointed and hurt like so many others have. Study the Word on healing and be ready to accept your healing when you are prayed for, and prepared to say "NO" to the symptoms when they try to come back on you. Every child of God needs to know this and be equipped with the Word on healing because healing belongs to you. Jesus got it for you at calvary and with his stripes we are and were healed.

Pills Or An I V? Which Do You Need?

We all know that God's Word is his medicine to all our flesh. That is in Proverbs 4:22. I have been believing God for a healing of some things going on in my body. But it seems like I was making no progress. So I began to ask God what is wrong.

He spoke to my spirit one morning and told me something I already know, but he made it so simple that I got it. He said his word is to be taken just like I would take pills that a Medical Doctor would prescribe for me. Think of a chapter of the Word being like taking one pill. Well, we all know one pill won't do us much good unless we take it several times a day. So we have to determine how much Word we need for our condition and take it how ever many times a day you think you need it. So if what you take isn't helping, then it's time to take more and take it more times a day to get the result you need. You will only find out how much that is by doing it and seeing what helps. This is where I'm at.

Then a few days later, the Holy Spirit said to me that some people have to have more than pills to heal them. It's according to what is wrong with a person. Some made need an I V going in them 24/7. That's they way an IV is, it's there all the time until you are on the mend, then it is usually replaced with medication by mouth. So and IV would be hearing the word in some form day and night. That will take some diligence on your part to do that. But if we want to be healed then we have to take God's medicine the way he prescribes it in Proverbs 4:20-23. So you may need an IV for a while then taper off with the pills/chapter of the Word and stay on that Word to maintain your healing. This is all up to every individual to determine how much they need of God's word for their condition. Will a few chapters of the Word 3 or 4 times a day get you healed and keep you healed? If it don't, then you need the IV treatment for a while.

Isn't God simple? He can get a point across to us in such simple ways. But so many people try to make God complicated. Look how simple he was in explaining to me about what I needed to do to get my healing. Listen to what you hear on the inside of you. That is where God speaks to us. We don't hear an audible voice but we hear in our spirits, that is where he speaks. Spirit speaks to spirit, not spirit to flesh.

Before I Was Afflicted I Went Astray

Psalms 119:67- Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

Here is David talking about getting into trouble because he strayed away from God's Word. He got into some injury or hurt and continual pain and distress because he wandered off in some other direction other than what God had said. He wasn't afflicted until he went astray. Think about that.

I don't think most Christians realize the seriousness of not doing what God speaks to them to do or what is written in the Bible. We are to be obedient to ALL he says, or there is a price to pay. We are either his disciples or we're not.

We can't just obey when we feel like it, or not obey when we don't. That is disobedience and it will cost you to go some other way than what God has said.

One of the definitions of "afflicted" is to be in continual pain. There is mental pain as well as physical pain. We all know that. Either one could be a sickness. A person can be sick in their mind as well as in their body; and it doesn't always mean they are crazy or mentally ill because of a bad thing that happened to them.

The devil will torment your mind to no end with all kinds of thoughts when you get off into your own way of thinking instead of God's way. This is continual pain and it won't stop until you repent and get back to what God said for you to do.

Disobedience can also cause physical suffering, pain and distress. Certain diseases can come on you when you go astray from God's word. Now don't get the idea that all sickness and disease a Christian has is caused from this; it's not. But this can be one reason it does. Each person will need to examine themselves to determine whether it is or not. No one else can judge that for you, but you alone can find out, then repent and get it right and you'll get healed then.
Evidently this was the case with David because he said so. He didn't say what the affliction was, but he did say;"but now have I kept they word". He made things right and got out of his suffering, whatever it was.

This is a side of sickness and troubles that we haven't thought about much, but we need to. To be disobedient to God's Word can cause us all kinds of problems and sickness can be one of them.
If you are sick, think back and check yourself and see if God has said something to you and you aren't doing it; or are you not doing what you have seen in the Bible that he pointed out to you. This could be your answer to you getting healed.

I believe there are Christians that have some kind of ailment and can't get well and they don't know why. This could be the reason. Maby they aren't being obedient to the voice of God in certain areas. A person in the condition can't receive their healing until they repent and start doing what God has said for them to do. This is certainly some food for thought, isn't it?

There Is Nothing Too Hard For God

Jeremiah 32:27-Behold I am the Lord the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me?

Do you think there are some things in life too hard for God? Most of us would answer "no", but do we really believe it?

I think of Sarah who was 90 years old that was barren all her life and never had any children. God told her she would have a child and she laughed. I can understand that, but she had the child. God means just what he says.

Think about what God had to do in her body for her to have this child. This always encourages me when something looks impossible in my own life. I think if he did that for Sarah, and he's no respecter of persons, then he will do for me what looks impossible.

Think about Abraham, Sarah's husband. He was dead in his body to ever be able to father a child. But God told him he would be a father of many nations through the son Sarah would bare to him. He believed it even though he was too old to father children. God had to do a work in his body for this to happen. God did, and Sarah bare a son and they called him Isaac. The name Isaac means laughter. Remember Sarah laughed when she was told she would have a child?

After Sarah died, Abraham married another woman named Katurah and had more children. God did a good job on Abraham for him to have 5 more children with a younger woman. Genesis 25:1-9. She had to be of child bearing age to have 5 children, didn't she? The Bible doesn't say God had to do anything for her like he did to Sarah for her to bare children.

So here we find an old man over a hundred years old marrying a much younger woman and having a family. He's called the father of faith. I believe it, don't you?

No Doctor could have done this for Sarah and Abraham, but God did. Nothing is impossible or too hard for God. Whatever is wrong with you it's not too hard for God to fix. Even if you were born deformed or some part missing, God can fix that to. Believe him for what you need, no matter how hard it looks to you. Just remember God does the impossible that man cannot do, and there are no hopeless cases with God. He heals all diseases. Psalms 103:3.

Keep Your Tongue

1Peter 3:10 says, For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil and his lips that they speak no guile.

Did you know it will make you sick if you talk wrong about others? You won't have good days here on the earth if you talk about others. It doesn't matter if it is true what you are saying about them or not, it's still wrong when you tell it to someone else.

There are those who do this and then go to church and raise their hands and praise the Lord and look so sincere. Maby some don't know yet that they are doing wrong. But many do.
I'm sure the ones that know it's wrong are looking for excuses to continue to talk this way about their brothers and sisters in the Lord. They enjoy gossiping. I know people like this, don't you? Their lives are full of sickness, depression, and addictions and they take all kinds of medicine and visit their doctor often. I don't think they have made the connection with them being sick and what they are saying about their fellow Christian. There is a connection there.

God doesn't lie. He said if we don't keep our tongue and lips from speaking guile, then we won't enjoy our life or see good days. If we don't keep our mouth it will cause us health problems. You can't talk about anyone and stay well. That is just the truth of the matter.
Put a watch over your tongue and stop if you start to say something about anyone. It will be for your own benefit if you will do this.

Backbiting and gossiping if from the devil. That is his work. Christians, you can't do that and stay well, or stay in right standing with God. Watch what you say about others, it's vital to your health.

I know this is new to some of you. But we have to stop talking and telling everything we know about what someone did in the past or whenever. We are to love everybody and treat them like the Lord would. He wouldn't tell on you if you did something wrong, so don't you do it either, or you will lose your peaceful life and good days. There is nothing worth that, is there? Keep your tongue and you'll keep your life.

A Merry Heart Doeth Good Like A Medicine

Proverbs 15:33 says that a merry heart doeth good like a medicine.
God has us covered, doesn't He? We know that God's word is medicine to all our flesh, (Proverbs 4:22) and now we have this scripture also that tells us a merry heart does us good like a medicine. When you laugh, it's good medicine.

Haven't you heard of people that were sick and they got some comedy movies and watched them and laughed till they were well? We need to realize if the sinner can do that, how much more can a child of God? We can do that with the Holy Ghost helping us that the world doesn't have. He can move on us and cause us to laugh in the Spirit, and that is called "holy laughter". It's inspired by the Holy Ghost and comes right out of your spirit. This kind of laughter is the right way to laugh with healing as the end result.

I know there are folks in the church that don't believe this, but it's real anyhow. It's a Christian having a merry heart and it's doing them good like a medicine. It's good for you to laugh in the Spirit. It's from God and it is a good way to get healed.

If the people in the world that aren't Christians can laugh in the natural and get well, why are Christians rejecting it when it says it in the Bible? Holy laughter is real and is from God. So when you feel sick, laugh till you are well.

This is another part of God's medicine for his people when they are sick that they can do to be healed. So laugh, laugh laugh! It's good medicine.

God's Word Will Keep You Healthy

I was talking to an acquaintance the other day about being well and staying well and it seemed to make her angry. She said to me that something was going to take us all out of here one day. I was telling her about the Word of God being every Christians' medicine. She had never heard that I think is why she believes some disease is going to kill us all one day.

I couldn't help but think of Elijah who was translated and didn't see death. Then there is Enoch who was taken and didn't see death. My goodness, did this only happen back then and not now? I don't think so, do you? I believe God is still translating people out of here, but we don't know about it, except when we hear on the news that so and so disappeared and was never found. Some sickness does not have to be the way we leave here.

So why are people so quick to let you know they don't believe you can stay well while you live here on earth? I think for some the reason is that they are sick and on medicine and can't see how that could ever be. Also they have never heard before that you can live a well life. I used to be in that boat to, and I had to get sick nigh to death before I could believe anything different. But I was glad to hear I could be well. I grabbed that truth and ran with it until I was well again. I've been well ever since. I've had opportunities to be sick, but I refused them. Now…I know some of you don't understand what I mean by that. I have had sickness to attack my body, but I said "NO" I will not receive that and went on about my business of the day and all symptoms left. You have to resist sickness or it will take hold of you and put you in bed or something worse.

How I wish every person on earth could see this. Jesus got healing for you at Calvary. Believe that and take hold of it and stay well. You do NOT have to be sick to die. Live out your days here on the earth well, and then when it's time for you to go home, go home well.
Proverbs 4:20 tells us that God's word is our medicine. The Word is life to you and health to all your flesh. Believe that and be well.

Healing Must Be A Part of Every Ministry

Healing Should Be A Part of Every Ministry

Matthew 8:16-17-When the even was come they brought unto Jesus many that were possessed with devils and he cast the spirits out with his word, and healed all that were sick: That is might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Jesus healed ALL that were brought to him, and all that had demons in them, he cast them out with his word. I believe every believer on the earth today can do the same thing.

Jesus told us in Mark 16 to cast out devils, and to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. It doesn't say that only ministers can do this, but that believers can. Folks, we are missing it here by not doing what Jesus said. You don't have to be a minister to do this, only a believer.

Now, I do believe every person called to the five-fold ministry should have healing of the sick as a part of his or her ministry. They may not have a full time healing ministry, but healing of the sick should be included in there somewhere.

Jesus preached and teached and healed everywhere he went. Matthew 9:35. I believe this is what preachers should be doing today as well. I realize there are other things that God may ask us to do. But to preach, teach and heal is the main thing all ministries are to be doing first. If not, people won't be getting saved, filled with the Spirit, let alone healed.

You may say that you aren't called to heal people. Yes you are if you are called to the five-fold ministry. Every minister preaches, teaches and heals just like Jesus did. You may be called to do something in particular but I guarantee you that you will preach, teach and heal first. That's what all ministers start out doing and anything else is just added to that.

We must preach and teach the word so all can be fed the word and grow up in the Lord. But if you never lay hands on the sick for healing, you have missed a part of the gospel. People need to be taught about healing so they can have faith for it, then the minister needs to lay hands on them and pray for their healing. There shouldn't be any sick Christians in the church today. Whoops! I just lost some of you right there. But it's true. Jesus bore our sicknesses for us, so why are we still sick? Isaiah 53:5.

Healing must be a part of every church today. There must be healing in churches and ministries with whatever else they may do, or it's not a complete ministry as it should be. I say this looking at Jesus' ministry. He said the works that he did we can do also, and greater works than what he did we can do. John 14:12. He healed the sick everywhere he went except in his hometown of Nazareth because of their unbelief. Mark 6:5. But even there, it says he laid his hands on a few sick folks and healed them. So he did heal some that would accept him there.

Healing is a big important part of the gospel and should be happening in all ministries today. Jesus healed all that came to him and cast out the spirits with his word, and that fulfilled what Isaiah said many years before. Isaiah 53:4. Let's follow Jesus' example and we will be in his will and continuing on with what he did while he was here on the earth. It's his will to heal and he wants his children well.

IS IT GOD'S WILL TO HEAL ME?

Matthew 8:2-3 says, And behold there came a leper and worshiped Jesus saying, Lord it thou wilt thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand and touched him saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Before you can ever have healing, you must settle the fact that it is God's will to heal you. Some believe it's God's will to heal others but not them, while others believe God might heal if it's his will, but if it’s not then he won't. None of these are true.

This leper knew Jesus could heal him if it was his will. He no doubt had heard of Jesus healing folks or possible had seen him do it. But he didn't know if it was his will to heal him. Are you at this place?

We all know God provided healing for his servants under the old covenant. He told them if they would serve him and obey him, he would take sickness away from the midst of them. Exodus 23:25. Go back and read the old covenant and you'll find this to be true. He told them that he was the Lord that healeth them. Exodus 15:26.

Healing has not been done away with like some say. Look at Hebrews 13:8. It says Jesus Christ the same Yesterday, today, and forever. Jesus was healing everywhere he went when he was here. So don't you know he is still healing today if he hasn't changed? This verse says he hasn't. He will be the same forever just like he was yesterday.

In Malachi 3:6 it also says, For I am the Lord I change not. We serve an unchanging God people. So believe the Bible, not what you hear someplace else.

God sent Jesus here to show us the father's will. Everything Jesus said and did was under the instructions from the father God. Jesus prayed and told God before his crucifixion that he had finished the work, which he had given him to do. John 17:4b. A big portion of that work was Jesus healing the people everywhere he went. Matthew 9:35. His ministry was preaching, teaching, and healing. It is still the same today through ministers here on the earth.

So Jesus settled the fact to this leper that it was his will to heal him. What did Jesus say to him? He put forth his hand and touched him saying, I will, be thou clean. He said it was his will to heal him and immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Has God changed his mind about healing? I can't find any place in the Bible where he has, and neither can anyone else. It's not there! Thank God!

God is not a changing God. He never changes and he cannot lie. So what you see in the Word is the truth and always will be. You can count on the Word to never fail, and trust it to be the truth for your every need.

Healing is for today and all the tomorrows as long as the earth is in existence. It's God's will to heal you, so don't let anyone tell you any different. Study the word and be fully persuaded in your own heart and mind that is God's will to heal you, because it is.

Faith Works ONLY By Love

Faith which worketh by love. Galatians 6:5

Did you know that your faith will only work when you walk in love? That's the only way it works. It won't work any other way.

You receive from God with your faith. But what if your faith isn't working and you're not receiving? Then you need to check out your love walk. Your faith works when you walk in love towards others.

Think back. Did you get angry and say something bad to someone or about someone to someone else? Then you have to repent and ask for forgiveness before your faith will work for you. Do you see that?

God means just what he says in his Word. It says in Psalms 119:89 that, Forever O Lord thy Word is settled in heaven. God's word is forever settled and that's the way it will be always and never will change. He doesn't change his Word like some people do. You can stake your life on God's Word. For if he said it, it's a done deal and that's the way it will be. You can stand on it and know it is true.

Let's say you are believing God for healing and it's been a long time; then you better be checking out your love walk. That could be the reason healing hasn't come yet. Check and see if you've forgiven everyone that has hurt you. This is a good place to start. We have to forgive others if we want to be well. Unforgiveness will stop your faith from working and therefore you can't receive your healing. I believe this is one of the major reasons people aren't getting healed. They aren't forgiving and walking in love.

Learn to walk in love if you want your faith to work for you, and I know you do. We can't receive any other way from God except by our faith. It may very well be the most important thing you will ever do is to walk in love. It's not easy, but you can do it, because the love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, Romans 5:5.

If you have no love walk, then you will have no healing, no answered prayer or anything else because you are in sin if you aren't walking in love. I know that's a strong statement, but check it out in your own Bible and see what it says about walking in love, 1Corinthians 13. The commandment of love is the only commandment the church has to keep today. It's a commandment, not a choice you can make. Jesus commanded us to walk in love toward each other. That's the way the world will know we are Jesus' disciples. John 13:34-35.

Jesus said if we don’t forgive, neither will your heavenly father forgive your trespasses. Mark 11:26. If we aren't forgiven of our wrongs by our heavenly father, then where does that leave us?

Did You Know Healing And Salvation Go Together

Did you know that healing for your body is as much yours as salvation is for your spirit? Jesus got both of these gifts for us at the same time. But we all accept the gift of salvation so much more readily than healing.The reason is, that salvation is taught so much more than healing. But they both come in the same package.

People have the strangest ideas about healing that I've ever heard. They think they didn't get healed because it wasn't God's will to heal them. This tells me they don't know it's God's will to heal them.

Some think it's not God's will to heal them because healing has passed away. This is just plain ole ignorance of not having studied the word. Then others think if God wants them well, they will just be well automatically, or when someone prays for them. If it doesn't work out this way, then they think they are sick to bring glory to God.

Some even think when they don't get healed then this sickness is on them to teach them something. If this is the case, then it's wrong for them to go to the Doctor to try and get well, or take medicine to get rid of the sickness. If one does, then he/she is going against God's will and they won't learn whatever it is that this sickness would have taught them. Now, doesn't that sound foolish? It is! Because sickness is never the will of God for anyone, and sickness is not your teacher. The Holy Ghost in you is your teacher.

So why are so many ignorant about healing? First I'd say our preachers and teachers have not taught it as much as they should have. They have taught salvation, but left healing out. Then also when a person gets saved it is their responsibility to read the Bible and find out about this for themselves.

When you are born again, healing comes along with it. You are now under the covenant that provides healing for you. Did you know you don’t necessarily have to pray for healing either? If you know that healing belongs to you, then all you have to do is accept it like you did salvation. Believe it and receive it, it belongs to you.

Isaiah 53:4 says that, "with his (Jesus') stripes we are healed". And Matthew 17:8 says, "that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, Himself took our infirmities and bare our sickness". So you see, Jesus already bore your sicknesses so you wouldn't have to. He got healing for you, so accept it and walk in your right to be well here on the earth now.

Healing belongs to us all that are children of God. Jesus provided healing for your body the same as he got salvation for your soul. They are a package deal if you will accept it.

Healing For Your Children

Do you think people born with something wrong with them have to stay that way? Take for instance someone born mentally retarded. Is that God's will for that person? No! No! No! Jesus has provided healing for everyone, no matter what is wrong with them.

Why do parents just accept certain problems of sickness like that? They look at the situation and can't believe that child could ever be normal. They are looking more at the problem than what Jesus has already done. The world, Doctor's and others tell us all the time that there is no cure or very little help for them. It's true in the natural, but you as a child of God have healing available to you and your children that the world doesn't have.

A parent of a mentally retarded child should claim healing for their child and not stop until it becomes a reality. It can happen, and you won't have to be burdened all your life with that, and your child can live a normal healthy life.

I know people that have taken care of a sick child all its life. The child is in a wheel chair and can't do one thing for its self. That is a burden and a hardship on that family. The child isn't normal and will never know a normal life. This is not God's will for that family. Healing belongs to them if they are Christians, and they are.

I've heard so many people say that 'it was just an act of nature, or God must have made them that way for a reason'. Or this one gets me; 'they were put on this earth like that so the world would be a better place by them being here'. Oh God! What a horrible thing to think, let alone say. God has no part of that.

This breaks my heart to see and hear people saying such things. They don't know any better I realize that. But wake up child of God. Healing belongs to you and your child. Don't accept any sickness or disease in your life or your family and especially your children. You as a parent can get healing for your child because it's your right!

Look at Deuteronomy 7:13b. It says He will bless the fruit of they womb. Bless? Is mental retardation a blessing of your womb, Mom? Of course not, so don't accept it. That's a work of the enemy, who is the devil. He's the one that steals, kills, and destroys. John 10:10. He's trying to destroy your child before he is even born! You take hold of healing for that child and get them healed. It's your right to do so and God will help you to.

In Psalms 139:13-16 it says; For thou has possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: My substance was not hid from thee, thine eyes did see my substance and in thy book all my members were written. Read all those scriptures for yourself. I just took a sentence from each one. But you'll see God formed everyone right, so something else happened that caused the problem when someone is born with a birth defect. It certainly was not God's doing.

Now remember, I'm not talking about sinners here. All kinds of things can happen to children born to sinners. The mother could be on drugs, alcohol, etc. A child born from that mother could have all kinds of problems. Of course if that mother will turn to the Lord, she can get healing for her child as well. Sinners don't have healing available for them and their families. You must be a child of God to have that available to you.

I'm talking about a Christian mother who has a child born with a defect. Don't you accept it as 'that's just the way it is' and 'I'll have to just deal with it'. No! You rise up and take the word of God and declare before heaven and earth that Jesus took stripes for your child's healing and you are claiming healing for them now, in Jesus Name!

No matter what it looks like or how bad it is, don't you stop till your child is normal. Healing belongs to you and with the stripes of Jesus we were healed Peter said in I Peter 2:24. "Were" means already done. We are all healed, not going to be or trying to be, we are ALREADY healed.

Remember, no matter what it looks like, there is nothing too hard for God. Jeremiah 32:17. Hallelujah!

God's Word Will Heal You

Exodus 23:25 says; And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and He shall bless thy bread and thy water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. This was said to the children of Israel. They were not sick as long as they obeyed God. They were only sick when they were disobedient.

Why do you suppose there are so many Christians sick today?It is evident that Christians today don't know the word. They are too busy to read the Bible and they pray on the go. This is why they are sick like people in the world.

How the church needs preaching and teaching of the Word so we can all learn and grow up spiritually. Most aren't hearing the word at church or they would be a lot farther along in their walk with the Lord and healthier. They wouldn't be sick as much either. Do you know why? It says in Proverbs 4:20 that the word is health, (Hebrew word for health is medicine) to all our flesh. The word of God is your medicine! So if we were all hearing the word, we'd have faith in our heart and walk in health.

You get healed by hearing the word, and when you hear it, it gets in your mouth and in your heart. When it is in those two places, your healing will show up any time now. It's a sure thing. So---do you see where we're lacking? It's a lack of the Word of God. Not many are teaching the real word. Some are, and they are the ones that most are fussing about. The ones that aren't, are the ones most people are praising. They teach things that will help you some in your day to day living, but won't get you healed when you're sick. It takes God's Word straight from the Bible to do that.

Preachers, Teachers, Evangelists' Missionaries, and anyone else that might teach the word in some venue; Get in the Bible and begin to fast and pray and study and learn more yourself, then you can teach others more and then all can grow and learn and live more of an abundant well life.

As we get more of the Word in us, we will walk in more health, The word is our medicine, it's God's medicine for all his children, but you have to take it to get the results you need. It's for healing as well as any need you many have in your life.

Peter's Shadow Healed The Multitudes

Acts 5:12-17-And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch). And of the rest durst no man join himself to them, but the people magnified them. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women. Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits, and they were healed every one.

The apostles did many signs and wonders among the people in their day by the laying on of hands on the people. But here was a multitude of people and there was no way they could lay hands on all of them, so they were laid out on the street in beds and couches and when Peter passed by his shadow fell on them and they were healed.

Now we all know that a shadow of a man passing by and overshadowing someone will not heal them. But this was a special manifestation of the Spirit of God on Peter that caused this to work. Remember Paul? He took handkerchiefs and aprons from his body and sent them to sick folks and diseases departed from them and evil spirits left them also, Acts 19:11&12. God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul. Here is another special way God ministered healing to this multitude that were sick by Peter's shadow.

This was not the only multitude that got healed. A multitude came from cities round about unto Jerusalem bringing the sick and those with unclean spirits and they were healed everyone it says. That is an amazing way to get healed, isn't it? But if you will read the Bible and look for these things, you will be surprised how many different ways people were healed.

Jesus spit on the ground and made clay out of his spit and put it on a blind man's eyes and told him to go wash in a pool called Siloam and he would come seeing, John 9:6. Now what would you think if some minister did that to you? You would call him a sick disgusting person doing such a thing. Today we have people that have healing ministries and do some strange things as well, and people call them fakes and putting on a show, or paying the people to act that way. But folks, go to your Bible and see the strange things the apostles and prophets did concerning healing and also what Jesus did. Of course I will say, there probably are some fakes doing this, because the devil always copies the real thing. But don't let that bother you. God always proves the real from the fake.

Naaman in the Old Testament needed healing and he sent for the prophet Elisha. Elisha told Naaman's servant to tell him to go dip seven times in the river of Jordan and his leprosy would leave him and he would be clean. Now what does dipping one's self in a dirty river have to do with being healed? Nothing in the natural. But God has his ways of doing things, and whatever he tells you to do, then that's what you do if you want to be well. This made Naaman mad, but his servant talked to him and got him to do it and he was healed of his leprosy. IIKings 5:10-14. So you see there are some strange instructions sometimes to be carried out to receive healing. But they are God's ways, not ours.

None of God's ways make any sense to us. He doesn't make sense. His ways are higher than our way of thinking, and his thoughts are higher than our thoughts, Isaiah 55:8-9. So don't try to figure God out, you never will, just do what he says to do and everything will turn out right.
Why don't we see these things in the church today? I have wondered about that. People, I believe are afraid to do something different in fear of being talked about or put out of their church or being persecuted. God hasn't changed; he never changes the Bible says. So he must still be desiring to do these things today just like he did back then. But evidently no one is willing to heed to his leading in this manner. If Peter hadn't obeyed the Spirit of God, then that entire multitude would have stayed sick and no doubt many would have died.

Jesus had a healing ministry, the apostles had healing ministries and so do ministers today. Healing is a part of the great commission in Mark 16. We are to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. It didn't specify just ministers to do this. But that believers were to do it. Are you a believer? Then you can lay your hands on the sick and expect them to recover. Hallelujah!

Healing Is A Free Gift

Have you seen good, fine people of God have a tragedy hit their lives and you along with others don't understand it? You wonder why God allowed that to happen to them. You wonder why He didn't some how stop that before it happened to such a fine upstanding Christian.

Let's say it was a terminal illness that's going to eventually take their life. You watch them suffer for months and even years. They go through all kinds of hellish sufferings.

This person has served God all their life, and has been faithful to do whatever God asked them to do. But now they are suffering such unbelievable misery and had everyone they know to pray for them but getting no better fast. "Why don't God heal them", you ask? I just don't understand it". Then one day the person is dead. Why did this happen to this fine Christian? Why were they not healed?

At this point, people because of their ignorance of the Word began to speculate. They say things like; healing has passed away, it's not for us today. Or it must not be God's will to heal everyone or surely He would have healed this fine upstanding Christian. Or, maby they suffered that way and died because of some awful sin they had committed in their life. This is the one I despise; maby God was trying to teach them something. It could have been somehow for the glory of God. NO! all these things are wrong! Sickness is not the teacher of anyone!

Sickness is from the devil! He's the author of sickness and disease. Jesus bore our sickness and pain and any disease that will ever come upon mankind, so we don't have to bare them. He got healing for you the same as forgiveness of sins, but not very many preachers are telling us about that. I suppose they don’t know themselves or they would.

A lot of the responsibility is on us to. We are to study the Bible so we can know what belongs to us. Healing belongs to every Christian; it’s a free gift just like salvation. All we have to do is accept it and thank Jesus for it and walk free from sickness forever. There's no disease or sickness that Jesus didn't bare for you. You are healed of terminal cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, heart problems, diabetes, mental disturbances, and whatever else you might have. There is nothing too hard for God that wasn't covered at Calvary.

So when you see a good Christian die from cancer or some other disease, you don't need to wonder anymore why. They just didn't know or didn't accept the free gift of healing that Jesus provided for them. They may have never heard about it, or if they did, they didn't believe it. You must hear and believe what the Bible says for it to do you any good.

I Peter 2:24 says, He (Jesus) bare our sins in His own body on the tree; and with His stripes we WERE healed. Did you get that? You WERE healed, not going to be, you already are! All you have to do is believe that, accept it, and thank God for your healing and you've got it.
Preachers have got to start preaching this until the people get it down in their spirits. Then you'll see good fine Christians walking in divine health and living out their days on the earth and going home to heaven without sickness and disease. You don't have to be sick to die. That's the devil's way, not God's.

Jesus paid the price and bought this free gift of healing and gave it to you and me. Picture him standing in front of you holding a package wrapped and tied with a red ribbon on top and on the side of the box it says "Healing", and he says; "take it, it’s a gift from me to you, I bought it for you". Take it and thank Him for it and healing will become a reality in your life.

Being ignorant of the Word can kill you. Do you see that? I've seen many good Christians die because they didn't know healing was provided for them. The Church of Jesus Christ has got to hear this message again. Some where along the way, satan stopped it, but it is being revived again in these last days. Jesus is coming back for a healed and healthy church, not a sick and diseased one.

YOU Determine Your Healing

I have written another article on these scriptures, but the Lord keeps revealing more to me about them. So they must be very important to us all. Lets keep on learning.

Proverbs 4:20-23 tells us how to get well and stay well. It says to attend to the word, incline your ear to my sayings. Let the word not depart from your eyes and keep them in your heart. For God's Words are life to those that find them and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart for out of it are the issues of life. The word "health" in the Hebrew means "medicine". So you could say that God's Word is medicine to all your flesh.

You, me, and everyone, determines how well or how sick they will be. "Awe", you say, that couldn't be right. Well…didn't the word just say that God's word is medicine to all our flesh? Then, isn't it up to each of us to decide if we will take God's medicine or not? Yes it is. Then we determine how well we will be by taking God's medicine, or stay sick if we don't take it. Folks, we might as well face the truth. God through Jesus has provided for every Christian everything we will ever have need of. Healing is certainly one of those things. But it's up to us to read the Bible and learn what belongs to us and then lay hold of it and take it as ours. Read it and do what it says.

These scriptures in Proverbs tell us how to get well and stay well. The Word of God is your medicine and these verses tell us how to take that medicine. So why are God's people still sick? They either haven't heard this Word yet, or have heard it and not doing it.

In James 1:25, It says we are not to be hearers only, but to be a doer of the Word. You'll never have what the Word says if you just hear and don't do it. You have to do the Word to have what belongs to you. Just because you saw something in the Bible that is yours doesn't mean it will fall on you automatically. It won't, you have to appropriate it.

Get busy in the Word. Find scriptures on healing and put them in your heart by reading them, thinking on them, and saying them 3-4 times a day at least. I suggest more than that, but you determine how many times a day you need your medicine. Listen to the leading of the Holy Ghost inside you and he will let you know how much time you need to spend in the Word.

If you have a terminal disease that will kill you in a few months, then you need a lot of time in the Word. You really need to give all your attention to the Word. I know there are things we all have to do, but drop everything that you can and make the Word of God your number one priority.
If some illness you have is not likely to kill you, then you don't have to be that aggressive with the Word unless you are in a hurry to get well. But it will take longer if you just give a little time to the Word. So you see, it's up to you how much of God's Word you take and how often. YOU determine this.

Stop waiting on the Lord to heal you, he's already healed you. Jesus got healing for you on the cross. He bore your sicknesses and diseases and by His stripes you WERE healed. It's a done deal. Take the Word of God everyday like medicine, but don't worry, you can't overdose on the Word. The more you take the more well you become. Take it according to the directions that it gives you in these verses and you will get well, and if you continue in it you will stay well.

It's up to you; no one else can do this for you, not even God. YOU determine how well or how sick you will be by the amount of attention you give to the Word on healing. Isn't that amazing? But it's true.

PRESS IN FOR YOUR HEALING

Do you desire healing from the Lord? Then what you must do first is go to the Word of God and find the scriptures that cover healing. Look up all the healing scriptures and write them down so you can read them and meditate on them everyday.

You may have someone lay hands on you and get your healing that way, but let me tell you the truth about that. It won't last unless you get the word for yourself afterwards and put it in your heart and your mouth. I've seen several people get healed this way and then lose it because they continued on in their everyday life like they always had. They didn't get in the Word and make the necessary changes and they lost their healing. Yes…you can lose your healing. You need to know how to keep it once you get it. Getting the Word for yourself is the best way to receive healing. If you get it this way, then you will most likely keep it if you continue in it.

So find the scriptures that cover what you need from God and press in to that Word. What do I mean by "pressing in to the Word"? Well…you can't just read the healing scriptures once in the morning then go all day long and never give it another thought till the next day. You won't get healed on the word doing that. You have to go after it all day long. Every time you have a few minutes go read those scriptures and say them out loud to where you can hear yourself say them. Think about them every time you have a few free minutes if you work at a job all day. When you get home that night, read them out loud again before you go to bed. Keep right at it
continually is pressing in.

Don't let distractions get you so involved with things in the world that you forget about the Word that will bring you what you need from God. This is the one thing, I believe that steals from us spiritually more than anything else. There are legitimate things that we all have to take care of, but we need to simplify our lives as much as possible from unnecessary things if we are to receive our healing or anything else from God. We have to give the Word of God our undivided attention. Read Proverbs 4: 20-23.

Have you ever seen someone out running early in the morning in the rain and it's cold? That person has committed to do this for some reason. Mabe they want to lose weight or run a marathon. They will work for that no matter what the conditions are. This is the kind of commitment you and I must make to receive what we want and need from God. It takes commitment and pressing in to the Word of God to make that happpen. We can't be lazy and just do this when we feel like it or when it's convenient. We have to make time and do it consistently every day until healing comes.

Don't worry about other things too much. They will be taken care of as you seek God and his Word. It says in Matthew 6:33; But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. If you'll put God first and his Word and do what is right, then all these things will be added unto you. Added, not taken away. Take care of what you have to and let the rest go and everything else will work out right. Press in to the Word of God and get your healing, you'll be so glad you did.

Do You Have Lack In Your Life

Healing Of A Young Lady's Foot

Let me show you how the word of God works like you would take medicine that the doctor would give you. If your doctor prescribed for you to take a pill three times a day, then that's what you would do, or his prescription wouldn't do you any good.

There was a young lady that played the piano at church every Sunday. She was in her thirties and never went anywhere much because she had a cripple foot. She was born that way and had never had a pair of shoes on in her life. She could wear one shoe on her good foot and that was all.

Some one gave her a set of tapes by Kenneth E. Hagin and she took them home and listened to them and never got a thing in the world out of them. She played them again the next day and the same thing, nothing. She couldn't go anyway out in public by herself so she was home all day with nothing else to do, so she would play those tapes over and over. She said after about six months of listening to those tapes she noticed her foot had started to straightened out some. She kept listening to them day after day still not understanding much but after a while her foot was completely straight. What happened? That word got in her and began to work from the inside out.

She also said she grew a little toe on that foot to. She was born without a little toe but now she has one! Her mother confirmed that she had been born cripple and had no little toe on that cripple foot, and had never worn a shoe on that foot in her life.

What would have happened to her if she had stopped listening to those tapes say in three months or even four? She would not have gotten healed. But thank God she continued and all to her benefit in the end.

Do you see how powerful the word of God is? It has life and healing in it if we will just get on it and take it everyday just like you would take medicine from your doctor. God's word is your medicine for whatever your problem is. It will heal any problem and make it right if you will spend the time everyday to put God's Word in your spirit.

Healing starts from the inside of you and then shows up on the outside where you can see the results of its working power. But if you don't take the time to put the word in your heart, then there is nothing in there to change the outside circumstances.

In Psalms 107:20, it says, He sent his Word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions. His Word is the healer today. Jesus came and died on the cross and took stripes for our healing. Accept that and take the Word into your heart and be healed. God's Word is food for your spirit and healing for your body.

Jesus loves me this I know, and He loves you to, and wants you well.

God's Word Is Your Medicine

I probably should have written about this subject the very first blog I did. I always write what I feel the Spirit of the Lord is leading me to. God's medicine is the title of this blog so I guess its time to write about that.

Look at Proverbs 4:20-23. It says, My son attend to my words; Incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep they heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.

Some Bibles have a letter or a number by the word "health" in verse 22 and if you look in the margin to see what it means, it will tell you the word "health" means "medicine" in the Hebrew language. So then how would it read if you put the word "medicine" in that verse instead of health? It would read, that God's Word is life and medicine to all your flesh.

These scriptures here give you direction on how to take God's Word and apply it to your life and it will make you well if you are sick, or if you aren't sick then it will keep you well. God's Word is your medicine for whatever ails you. If you take enough of it, it will bring life to you and make you well and keep you well.

But the key is to attend to God's Word like the instructions says to do here. What do you do if you attend to something or somebody? You give them your attention and let everything else go, don't you? This is what we have to do if we have a need, like healing. We must set aside time everyday to read the Word and commune with God in order to put the word in our heart. The word has to be in your heart, or spirit, before it will do you any good. It won't help you much just in your head.

It says to incline your ear to his sayings. So much of the time Christians listen to everyone else instead of what God says in his Word. If you will take the time to listen to God's Word and believe it, then you will get God's results. The world can only help us so much and they are limited in their knowledge. But God made us and knows all about how our bodies work and he certainly knows how to heal them, wouldn't you say?

So this is one way that everyone can partake of and be healed without a minister present, or anyone laying hands on you to be healed. No one even has to pray for you. Just take God's Word on healing and put those healing scriptures in your heart by reading them, meditating on them, and saying them everyday at least three or more times a day. Then you will began to see your situation change. This is God's prescription for healing and health. You can't take an over dose of God's word. Actually, the more you take the stronger you will be and the healthier you will be.

It is really up to you how well and healthy you are, or how sick you are. Did you know that? It really is. Look at that scripture again that says, the Word is medicine to all your flesh. You can take God's Word like medicine two or three times a day until the sickness is gone. It will wipe out sickness and disease in your body if you will do what it says here. If you don't, then you may continue to stay sick if you don't find healing some other way. What if there is no cure for what you have? God's Word will heal you when Doctor's can't. There has never been a disease that the Word of God can't heal. Isn't that wonderful to know?

Find scriptures that cover your situation and start putting them in your spirit by reading them, meditating on them, and listening to what they are saying about your situation. This is how you put it in your heart. Once those scriptures are in your heart, then you will believe them more than any sickness or disease that tries to attack you. You will speak those scriptures to that sickness and tell it to leave your body, and it will go to.

This is one way, and I think the best way, that healing works when you do it according to the instructions here. Of course there are other ways to get healed, but this is one way that anyone can do when no other help is available. You can take enough of God's Medicine and wipe out any sickness or disease and be healed just you and God's Word at work together.

But if you get sick and haven't spent the time before to put the Word in your heart, then you may not have time to put the Word in your heart. You will have to see a Doctor or call someone anointed to pray for you and believe God for healing that way. Don't get caught off guard like that, spend the time now while you are well to put the Word in your heart and then when you get attacked with something, you are ready with the Word and will speak to that sickness and tell it to go from you in Jesus' name and it will leave.

God's Word in your heart is what you believe, and when you speak what you believe in your heart, that's when your healing comes. Those Words spoken in faith bring it to pass.

God's Word is your medicine. Take it everyday and walk in health.

Jesus loves me this I know; and he loves you to and wants you well.

Jesus Already Bore Your Sickness

Matthew 8:16-17, When the even was come, they brought unto him (Jesus) many that were possessed with devils, and he cast out the spirits with his word and healed ALL that were sick. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare out sicknesses.

Jesus already bore your sickness for you, so you don't have to bare any sickness. He healed people and cast out devils fulfilling the prophesy that Isaiah prophesied in Isaiah 53: 4-5 that I wrote about in another lesson here. It is so important that we all see that Jesus has taken care of the sickness problem and the devil problem so we don't have to be sick or run over by satan.

There is a hugh sickness problem in our world today. It amazes me the cars I see in the parking lot of Dr's offices and hospitals. Even those that are in nursing homes and other places of medical facilities. The church has failed to teach about what all Jesus did for them at Calvary. Especially the healing part. He got healing for us the same as he got salvation for our spirits.

I don't know about you, but I don't like being sick. I don't think anyone does, but when you try to tell people about healing they don't pay much attention. I guess folks have lived seeing people sick all their lives till they don't think there could be any other way that they could live. I understand that. We all live in a world where sickness and disease is running rampant in people's lives. It's hard to believe that one could live without being sick sometime. But you can!

If I can get you to study your Bible on the subject of healing, I know you will see this is true. Are you sick and medical doctors can't cure you? Well God has the answer in his Word. I will continue to write more here about healing. I know healing is for us all because I've been healed of different things over the years. I am talking about something I have experienced, not just heard about, and its all in the Bible. Check it out and see!

Be In Health

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. III John 2.

Did you know that was in the Bible? I didn't for many years after I became a Christian. There are many still today that are just like I was and I want to try and change that for them. You can see by this scripture that God wants you well and all your needs met.

This says "above all things" he wants us to prosper and be in health. Not just healed but to be in health. Being in health is different than gettting healed. Walking in health is to walk with God. Spending time in the word everyday and praying is what will get you to the place of being in health.

But as we can see to be in health and prosper depends on how our soul prospers. What does "soul prosper" mean? Did you ever read where it says that we are to renew our minds? We are to come out from the way we lived before we were born again and start living the way God says we are to live according to his word. We must read the word and study God's ways and get out mind to thinking like God thinks and obeying his word. Then our soul is prosperous. Its at this point that we can be prosperous and in health.

To be prosperous in the Lord includes every area of life. Not just financially but in our health, our marriage, socially, family, our mind, job, etc. We are to be prosperous in all areas of our life. This is what this verse is telling us. There are many Christians that are just the opposite from this verse. This is so because of a lack of knowledge. The Bible says people are destroyed because of that. We have to let people know what belongs to them so they can walk in it.

Here is another good scripture for you to read and meditate on so you can know that God wants you to have all your needs met and to be well and live in health.

Jesus Got Healing For You

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him: and by his stripes WE ARE healed. Isaiah 53: 5

Who his own self (Jesus) bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes we WERE healed. I Peter 2: 24.

Okay folks, look at those two verses and tell me if its God's will to heal you or not. The first one in Isaiah says, we ARE healed. Doesn't that mean we already ARE? Of course it does. Then you aren't going to be healed, you already ARE healed.

The next one in I Peter says we WERE healed. Well....I think that's plain enough that a child could understand, don't you? "Were" means already done, doesn't it? Sure it does! Peter was looking back at the cross and remembering what Jesus did for us. Jesus got healing for everyone at the cross the same as he got forgiveness for our sins. Can you see that?

I was sick for nearly 10 years and sat in my house and all kinds of awful things happened to me during that time. It would take too much time for me ever to tell you the whole story. But I lost everything before I found out the truth of what I'm telling you here. My life was never the same anymore and it was because I had no knowledge of healing or that Jesus had already paid the price for my healing and I was entitled to be healed just as much as I am entitled to be saved by the shedding of Jesus' blood. No one ever told me that!

Once I got hold of this truth and got well and out of my house, I tried to tell people about healing but they weren't too receptive. Why on earth would anyone not want to believe that healing is something they can have? That is a mystery to me. The sick ones will go to the Doctors and spend all the money they need to on medicine and pay for all kinds of tests' and never bat an eye. But you try telling some of them that Jesus will heal them and how to receive it and they will look at you strange. Do you know why? They haven't been taught about healing.

Some people even believe God put sickness on them to teach them something. My goodness, what kind of God would do that? Would you put sickness on your child if you could to teach them something? Of course not. Then why would anyone think God would do that to his children? He's a loving kind God that wants you well. Don't you ever believe that God wants you sick to teach you something. Sickness isn't the teacher of the church! The Holy Spirit is our teacher.

I'm going to get into some scriptures later on in other articles here that will show you how to receive healing for your body. If you are anything like I was those many years ago, it will be foreign to you, but if you need healing and will listen and read for yourself in your own Bible what I say here, then you can be healed to. God is no respector of persons, he has no favorites, he loves us all the same, and what he did for me, he'll do for you.
